“I am and always will be the optimist. The hoper of far-flung hopes and the dreamer of improbable dreams.”
an expression of intense shock when no other response seems appropriate.
It was a long afternoon and evening but I can finally go to bed now that I know everyone of my loved ones in Boston is safe and sound. Husband, mother in law, nephew and brother all home from work…cousin was not near the finish line so he is safe, friend who lives on Boylston st literally right where this happened has been evacuated and is safe with friend in the city…well he is physically ok, but quite shaken.
I have seen lots of speculation and blame and hatred already and it sickens me even more.
I can try to sleep now but I doubt it will happen. And tomorrow my loved ones have to travel into the city again…
It’s good to have a good cry
My Boston is good people
